Its hard to describe, but to me AT creates a little more fullness and abrasion on the vocals that make it sit much better in the mix, and waves sounds more dead. I used WT for a long time before I got AT and it is a night and day difference that you'll hear when you're familiar with them both. Some things WT catches, some things AT catches, but AT sounds a lot better quality wise to me. As for the feel of Auto Tune and Waves Tune Real Time, they feel similar while tracking, but when you listen back the algorithms are totally different. You have to capture the audio and then tune it that way. Melodyne, last I knew anyway, tunes after the fact. You can hear the tuning while you're recording with Waves Tune Real Time and Auto Tune.
